In the last few years Turin University, WIPO Worldwide Academy and the ILO have been organizing a conference in connection with the Master’s Program LL M in Intellectual Property.
Last year’s conference examined the jurisdictional venues where the tension between IP and fundamental human rights may emerge in the course of adjudication.
This year we propose to analyze the ongoing efforts in the harmonization of patent laws around the world, identifying the areas of progress, the stumbling blocks, and the most debated issues and questioning the very rationale which underpins the current exercise.
