Keynote speech:
HARVESTING THE TRUE VALUE OF DIGITAL CONTENT
The digital content market is a largely unexplored field, particularly in the wake of continuing development of new media platforms. Little is known of user experiences, demands and feasible business models. In the early stages of syndication and in the midst of establishing the conditions under which individuals and companies will pay for content, this opening session will try to answer the crucial question: What is the value-added content that will generate revenues?

Should originators employ the services of strategic technical partners or attempt to generate in-house services? Rich-media:
SYNDICATION AND DISTRIBUTION SOLUTIONS
Media production facilities, distribution networks and infrastructures are increasingly sophisticated and complex. Rich media content brokers need to adapt virtually all distribution and encoding standards that are used in the rich media realm. A one-stop-shop solution is where the added value for syndicators of rich media lies. For originators, this implies that the company could take away the strain of digitising, encoding and distributing their content over IP networks. Distributors can be freed from having to deal with issues such as website integration, developing rich media enabled infrastructures and hosting the content.
During this session we will hear from important players in the rich-media solutions marketplace, including key technology providers.
